How to Use (Indian Recipes)

  • Dosa & Idli Batter: Add to batter for better texture and crispiness
  • Chakli: Mix 3 cups of rice flour with 1 cup of besan, ajwain, sesame seeds, salt, and chilli powder. Use hot water and 2-3 tbsp hot oil and knead into a firm dough. Use a chakli maker to shape the dough and deep-fry in hot oil until golden.
  • Modak: Add 1 cup of rice flour in boiled water (1 cup), with 1 tbsp oil, and a pinch of salt. Cover the mixture for 5 minutes then knead into smooth, soft dough while warm. Steam the dough for 8-10 minutes after filling it with cooked jaggery and coconut.
  • Pakora Batter: Add to besan for extra crispiness.
  • Rice Pancake: Whisk 2 eggs in a bowl with 3 tbsp sugar in a bowl. Add rice flour and salt and whisk. Then add milk, and whisk. Add water and whisk again until the batter is ready. Coat a pan with butter and pour the batter into it and cook until it turns golden.
  • Halwa: Roast 1 cup of rice flour in 3-4 tbsp of ghee until aromatic. Heat water or milk with sugar or jaggery. Add the hot milk or water to the rice flour and keep stirring to avoid lumps. Cook on low flame until the mixture thickens.
